AF selects 13 Sheppard Airmen for promotion to E-8

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Thirteen masters sergeants here were among the more than 1,400 E-7s Air Force wide selected for promotion to senior master sergeant.

More than 17,400 master sergeants were eligible for promotion during this 22E8 cycle, according to Air Force Personnel Center, making the promotion rate 8.28 percent. The average overall score for those selected was 402.98.  Selectees’ average time in grade was 4.24 years and time in service was 18.02 years.

Sheppard Airmen selected for promotion include: Master Sgt. Andrew Dunmire, 365th Training Squadron; Master Sgt. Amanda Evachek, 82nd Medical Support Squadron; Master Sgt. Kyle Gamm, 368th TRS; Master Sgt. Suzanna Helms, 82nd Security Forces Squadron; Master Sgt. Jason Hicks, 361st TRS; and Master Sgt. Melwing Isaac-Jimenez, 366th TRS.

Master Sgt. Kristopher Koelling, 80th Operations Support Squadron; Master Sgt. Dean Martinez, 82nd SFS; Master Sgt. Theodore Nichols, 364th TRS; Master Sgt. Aaron Reich, 372nd TRS; Master Sgt. Benjamin Smith, 373rd TRS; Master Sgt. James Smith, 82nd Mission Support Group; and Master Sgt. Thomas Wyatt, 368th TRS.
