Ferrara Candy recalls Almond Supremes

Ferrara Candy Company has voluntarily recalled packages of Brach’s Almond Supremes. The recall was initiated due to a possible contamination with another Ferrara Candy product. Some Brach’s Almond Supremes may include Brach’s Bridge Mix, which may contain peanut and wheat products. Ferrara Candy performed an investigation and found a packaging error caused by an incorrect packaging film being used.

People who have a peanut allergy or sensitivity to peanuts are at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if product is consumed. Currently, no illnesses have been reported in connection to the recall.

Customers and consumers who have purchased the affected product are encouraged not to eat it and to discard it.
