Event: Christmas in Action
Request: Volunteers to help Christmas in Action (CIA) make repairs of different varieties to their new building before they can move into it.
Event Date/Time: August 30, 2014 @ 0800
Location: 1113 Sheppard Access Rd.
Misc Info: CIA is a non-profit that makes free repairs to homes in the local community for those who otherwise would not be able to do so on their own and does so through the efforts of volunteers. The labor required ranges from cutting down some trees along the fence line and other yard work, building racks and shelves for tools, replacing ceiling tiles and sealing the building so they can keep the birds out as well as unwanted visitors who may have other than good intentions. They will have tools/equipment available for use but if you would like to bring your own tools, that will be fine too.
