EVENT: Backdoor Theatre Storage Move
REQUEST: We need at least 24 volunteers to move all our costumes and stage properties to a new warehouse.

REQUEST: Looking for 10 - 20 motivated/fun volunteers to assist with the following: merchandise sales, concession stand, staging of racers, track officials/safety monitoring, racer signup, bike inspection, trophy/awards, cleanup

EVENT: Wichita Adult Literacy Council Book Fair
REQUEST: Assistance in moving 100,000 books from pallets to tables
EVENT DATE/TIME: March 26 from 5-8 p.m., March 27 and 28, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
VOLUNTEER DATE/TIME: Tuesday, March 24th from noon until 5. Anytime Wednesday through Saturday 9-8 p.m.
LOCATION: Sikes Lake Center, on the MSU campus, south of the new fitness/wellness center
MISC INFO: The Wichita Adult Literacy Council is a non-profit organization that helps adults learn to read at no cost to the student. This book sale is a once a year fund raiser for us that takes an entire year to prepare for.

LOCATION: The Kitchen/Meals on Wheels, 1000 Burnett, Wichita Falls,
MISC INFO: Community Champions Day is held each year when Wichita Falls dignitaries come together to deliver Meals on Wheels. Those in attendance will be Mayor Barham, Chief of Police, Sheriff, etc. Media will be covering this event. See below for further information.

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY REQUEST
EVENT:  4H District Three Rifle and Pistol Shoot
DATE:  March 25, 2015
TIME:  8:00 am to 2:30 pm.  Can be scheduled for lesser time if required.
LOCATION:  Northwest Texas Field and Stream  Range   (Just North of the base on Old Freiberg Rd.)
REQUEST:  Need Range Personnel and help in Scoring Targets.( We could use 10 to 15 people)
MISC:  We expect 100 youth from 8 yrs to 18 years old as well as their parents.

EVENT:  Texoma's Hellacious Obstacle Run (T.H.O.R.)
REQUEST:  Looking for 300 motivated volunteers to assist with the following:
merchandise sales, bag drop, volunteer check-in, volunteer support, water
stations, obstacle safety monitoring, medical assistance, packet pickup,
tent construction..

EVENT: Wichita Falls Community Orchestra
REQUEST: Violin/strings players to play with the orchestra
DATE/TIME: Concerts throughout the year volunteer times: WFCO rehearses Monday nights at 7 p.m. at the Fain Instrumental Hall at MSU (Teepee Street). We welcome all musicians (especially strings) and administrative volunteers. Formal auditions are not required. Good rehearsals mean good performances and although we realize not everyone can attend every rehearsal we do require a sincere level of commitment.
