Airman 1st Class David Higgins and Airman Ricardo Alvarez, 366th Training Squadron electrical systems students, test for continuity on a primary distribution panel with a multimeter tool. Students learn how to perform troubleshooting exercises to prepare for any problem. Upon completion of training, both Higgins and Alvarez will head to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., where their skills as electricians could potentially be put to the test during the upcoming hurricane season. The Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering Detachment at Sheppard gained a new officer to command their Navy unit July 29, 2015. Los Angeles native Lt. j.g. Leonardo Calderon arrived to Sheppard for the second time in his career from Port Hueneme, Calif.
