Col. Tony Pounds, 782nd Training Group commander, serves a plate of chow at the Combat Dining Out April 18 at the Medical Readiness Site. Members of the 782nd Training Group hydrate during the Combat Dinning Out. More than 100 permanent party members attended including commanders from 782nd TRG detachments at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport in Miss., Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and Hill AFB, Utah. Lt. Col. Joseph Turk, deputy commander of the 782nd TRG, was the guest speaker at the event and was recognized with a plaque presented by ColonelPounds. The purpose of the event was to build camaraderie and unit morale while fostering joint service operations within the 782nd TRG and also the Air Force.
