Rick Milhollon, the 82nd Civil Engineering Squadron Environmental Flight chief, hands out pencils, made from recycled rubber tires, while educating students that paper, cans, cardboard, bottles, plastic and computer cartridges items are all recyclable. Excited oohs and aahs rose as hesitant hands delved in to buckets of recycled bottles crushed into various stages of sand.
