Yarbrough named 'Support Airman of the Week' Published Nov. 25, 2015 By Staff Reports 82nd Training Wing Public Affairs SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Will Yarbrough 80th Operations Group bookstore clerk and native of Wichita Falls, Texas, has spent 28 total years serving the Air Force and is the Support Airman of the Week at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for the week of Nov. 24-30, 2015. Yarbrough spent 26 years in the Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. How he impacts the training mission: "Mr. Will Yarbrough began working in the bookstore in April 2014 and hit the ground running," said Jeffrey Roach, 80th OG chief. "He took the initiative to completely transform the workspace in the bookstore and established better processes for managing the flying publications and student courseware which resulted in $28,000 in annual savings. His exceptional customer service and relentless drive to provide support for our mission resulted in an unprecedented improvement in student critique's overall rating of the bookstore. In recognition of this amazing turnaround due to his superior work ethic and phenomenal customer service, Mr. Yarbrough is our Wing Staff Agency Support Airman of the Week." Most significant accomplishments: - Received the 80th Operations Group's category one Civilian of the Quarter, 2nd quarter of 2014. - Received the 80th Flying Training Wing's category one Civilian of the Year for 2014.
