Jason Hershelman 82nd Security Forces Squadron SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Sheppard Air Force Base Combat Arms firing ranges are located North of Missile Rd Gate and across from the Heritage Center. The Rifle/Pistol range is enclosed, however, the Grenade Range is open. During firing operations a red flag or streamer will be flown or during decreased visibility a red rotating beacon will be displayed. Please note that trespassing is not only illegal but could also be very dangerous due to gunfire.
