18 Sheppard Airmen receive Articles 15

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Eighteen Sheppard Airmen received Articles 15 in October for violations of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice.

An Airman from the 359th Training Squadron received non-judicial punishment for one violation of the UCMJ. The Airman violated Article 92, failure to obey a no contact order. The punishment included reduction to grade of Airman (suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 361st TRS received non-judicial punishment for three violations of the UCMJ. First, the Airman violated Article 109 for wrongfully destroying a television. Second, the Airman committed two violations of Article 134 for breaking phase by going off base and consuming alcohol under the legal drinking age of 21. The punishment included forfeiture of $840 pay, restriction to Sheppard AFB for 30 days and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 362nd TRS received non-judicial punishment for one violation of the UCMJ. The Airman violated Article 128 by unlawfully striking an Airman. The punishment included reduction to grade of Airman (suspended for six months), forfeiture of $500 pay (suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 362nd TRS received non-judicial punishment for one violation of the UCMJ. This Airman violated Article 81 when he conspired with other Airmen to assault an Airman. The punishment included reduction to grade of Airman (suspended for six months), forfeiture of $500 pay (suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 362nd TRS received non-judicial punishment for two violations of the UCMJ. Both violations involved Article 128; the Airman unlawfully struck and Airman and unlawfully brought the individual to the ground. The punishment included reduction to grade of Airman Basic (Suspended for six months), forfeiture of $500 pay (Suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 362nd TRS received non-judicial punishment for one violation of the UCMJ. This Airman violated Article 128 by unlawfully striking an Airman. The punishment included reduction to grade of Airman (suspended for six months), forfeiture of $500 pay (suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 363rd TRS received non-judicial punishment for four violations of the UCMJ. All four violations fell under Article 120, Abusive Sexual Contact. The punishment included reduction to Airman Basic, restriction to base for 60 days and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 364th TRS received non-judicial punishment for two violations of the UCMJ. The first violation fell under Article 107, false official statement to a noncommissioned officer. Second, the Airman violated Article 134 for communicating indecent comments to classmates. The punishment included forfeiture of $840 pay for two months (one month suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 364th TRS received non-judicial punishment for two violations of the UCMJ. First, the Airman violated Article 121 for wrongful appropriation of Airpods. The second violation fell under Article 134 for conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline; consuming alcohol under the legal drinking age of 21. The punishment included forfeiture of $840 pay for two months and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 365th TRS received non-judicial punishment for three violations of the UCMJ.  First is two violations of Article 91, use of disrespectful language toward two noncommissioned officers. Second, a violation of Article 134, for conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline; drunk and disorderly. The punishment included reduction in grade to Airman (suspended for six months) and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 366th TRS received non-judicial punishment for one violation of Article 134 of the UCMJ for conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline; specifically, consuming alcohol under the legal drinking age of 21. The punishment included forfeiture of $566 pay for two months (one month suspended for six months), restriction to limits of Sheppard Air Force Base for 60 days and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 366th TRS received non-judicial punishment for two violations of the UCMJ.  First, a violation of Article 107, for making a false official statement to a senior noncommissioned officer, and second, a violation of Article 134, for providing alcohol to minors. The punishment included forfeiture of $366 pay for two months, restriction to Sheppard AFB for 60 days and a reprimand.

The punishment included forfeiture of $366 pay for two months (one month suspended for six months), restriction to Sheppard AFB for 44 days and a reprimand.

A noncommissioned officer from the 82nd Communication Squadron received non-judicial punishment for one violation of the UCMJ under Article 121, for wrongful appropriation of booster club funds. The punishment included reduction to the grade of Airman (suspended for six months), forfeiture of $250 pay, and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 82nd Security Forces Squadron received non-judicial punishment for one violation of the UCMJ under Article 134 for being drunk and disorderly. The punishment included reduction to the grade of Airman and a reprimand.

An Airman from the 80th Flying Training Wing received non-judicial punishment for two violations of the UCMJ.  First, the Airman violated Article 107 by making a false official statement to a noncommissioned officer. The second violation was of Article 86 when the Airman, without authority, went absent from the unit. The punishment included reduction to Airman (suspended for 6 months), forfeiture of $132 pay for two months and a reprimand.
