Airman 1st Class Lindsey Plotner, 167th Airlift Wing, West Virginia, fuel cell mechanic and native of Williamsport, Maryland, has been in the Air Force for one year and has received the 361st Training Squadron’s ACE award upon graduating with 100 percent on all classroom material while in training at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, June 3, 2016.

Most memorable Air Force:

“BEAST week, (Basic Expeditionary Airman Skills Training), makes you appreciate all of the people who are overseas and fighting for us,” Plotner said. “BEAST was only a small taste of what they go through.”

Instructor’s comments:

“Airman 1st Class Plotner was an outstanding Airman throughout the course,” said Jessie McFarland, 361st Training Squadron aircraft fuel systems instructor. “She has excellent mechanical skills and work ethic, and never hesitated to assist anyone who didn’t understand a course objective. She is a definite team player and worked very well with her classmates. Plotner will be a welcomed addition to her Air National Guard work center.”
