Engineer Squadron contracting officer representative and native of Greenville,
South Carolina, has been with the Air Force for 26 years and is the
Support Airman of the Week at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for the week of
Nov. 22-28, 2016.
Most significant accomplishments:
- Being a father to three children
Airman’s story:
“Being a parent takes up a lot of my time with school and
sports activities,” Eskew said. “What time I have left, I do landscaping and home
improvements. It’s been said that I am a jack of all trades and master of none.
I have been in the Wichita Falls area since 1977 and have worked at Sheppard
since April 1990 and have been with the amazing 82nd Civil Engineer Squadron for
little over a year now. I enjoy working with my peers closely in meeting the
continuing challenges this installation hands us daily.”

comments:
“The Civil Engineering Squadron
was incredibly blessed to have lured Brian away from the Force Support
Squadron,” said Richard Milhollon, performance management chief. “He brings a
whole new meaning to the phrase ‘exceptional customer service.’ Brain is part
of my service contract section which surveils and monitors more than $5.5
million worth of contracts.”
“Our service contract
section was under manned until Brian showed up,” Milhollon continued. “During
this past year in CES as a contract monitor, he has used his extraordinary
skills to effectively execute more than $1.6 million in work associated with
the protective coating maintenance contract. This greatly impacts Sheppard’s
training mission by not only keeping the facilities looking great but also
saving energy dollars as well. I am very thankful to have Brian as a part of
the CES family.”
