Chief Master Sgt. Nicholas A. Carrier is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 80th Flying Training Wing, home of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. He is the senior enlisted advisor to the Commander of the 80th Flying Training Wing for matters concerning the morale and welfare, personal and professional development, and training and utilization of all assigned personnel. The wing is responsible for conducting the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program mission. This program is the world’s only internationally manned and led Undergraduate Pilot Training Program including these fourteen nations: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States
CMSgt Carrier entered the Air Force in February 2004. He attended the Aerospace Maintenance Apprentice Course at Sheppard AFB, Texas, and graduated in May 2004. Chief Carrier has served in many management and leadership positions across many echelons. He has deployed in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, JOINT TASK FORCE – HORN OVER AFRICA, multiple Counter Drug Operations, and Continuous Bomber Presence missions. Prior to his current position, CMSgt Carrier was the Senior Enlisted Leader, 60th Mission Support Group, Travis AFB, California.
