Tool kit finds home at structural apprentice school
A World War II-era carpenter's tool kit sits in a display case in the Air Force's Structural Apprentice Course dormitory at Naval Construction Training Center, Gulf Port, Miss. The kit was donated to the 366th Training Squadron, Det. 6, by retired Maj. Wayne Kuschel. Major Kuschel purchased the kit in 1947 after the death of its owner, Maj. Edward Dunn, in an XC-97 Stratofreighter crash near Dayton, Ohio. (Courtesy photo)
