AF selects 14 Sheppard master sergeants for promotion

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – The Air Force on March 7, 2019, released the names of those selected for promotion to senior master sergeant including 14 Airmen assigned to Sheppard AFB organizations.

Sheppard Airmen selected through the 19E8 promotion cycle include: Master Sgts. William Adams II, 82nd Mission Support Group; Jameliah Brooks, 82nd Training Wing; David Cameron, Sheppard NCO Academy; Joshua Crowley, 366th Training Squadron; Harold Davis, 373rd TRS; Javin Guile, 372nd TRS; Ryan Hutchins, 364th TRS; and Stephanie Leisge, 373rd TRS.

Master Sgts. Candice Mann, 363rd TRS; Jeffrey Messer, 364th TRS; Michael Parrott, 82nd Force Support Squadron; Boniface Sapno, 82nd Security Forces Squadron; Roberto Short, 365th TRS; and Sari Taylor, 372nd TRS.

Of the 13,316 Airmen eligible for promotion to senior master sergeant, 1,434 were selected, according to the Air Force Personnel Center. The average overall score for those selected was 494.87. Selectees’ average time in grade was 3.87 years and time in service was 17.91 years. The average decorations score was 19.92 and the average USAF Supervisory Exam score was 74.98. The average board score was 398.96.

Airmen will begin promoting April 1 according to their sequence number.
