'Ride into Summer' campaign awards new bikes to children

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas — Nine Sheppard AFB children were rewarded with new bicycles July 1, 2022, for their efforts in the Commissary's "Ride into Summer" coloring contest and campaign.

The bikes, donated by the Wichita Falls Disabled American Veterans Chapter 41, were presented during a small ceremony in front of the Commissary. Before trying out their new rides, 82nd Security Forces Squadron Staff Sgt. Jaylynn King provided a safety briefing to the young cyclists.
