SAFETY CORNER – INSECT & CRITTER SAFETY

Snakes, Spiders, and Raccoons-OH MY! With the days warming up, all the insects and critters that have been hibernating in our attics and walls will start to make their appearance. Be prepared and be safe around insects and critters this summer!

Quick Tips

  • Spiders? Did you say flame thrower?
  • Ticks carry diseases; keep lawns mowed, wear insect repellent, and check animals regularly
  • Seek medical treatment for severe reactions to bites and stings
  • Wild animals, as cute as some of them are, they are not pet material
  • Be cautious around stray cats and dogs
  • Be snake safe…the strike distance is ½ the total length
  • Be safe with pesticides, or just let the pro’s handle the problem!
