Good morning Team Sheppard,

Use the following link to submit your announcements: WEEKLY BRIEF SUBMISSION

FROM THE 82D MEDICAL GROUP As part of the transition to MHS GENESIS, DoD’s new Electronic Health Record, hours for 82d Medical Group services will change beginning this week, as follows:

June 12-16: 0730-1500

June 19: Closed for Juneteenth

June 20-Forward: 0730-1630 (regular business hours)

June 21: Closed for Training Day all day

During this period, Medical Group staff will begin incorporating new processes associated with MHS GENESIS. With the transition, Tricare Online (TOL) Secure Messaging was replaced with the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. It is highly recommended that beneficiaries register for a Patient Portal account as soon as possible by going to Additional information, videos on registration, or customer-service assistance for the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal can be found at:

Please be patient during the transition period and expect longer wait times for some services. Available alternatives include:

- For urgent care, please use the Nurse Advice Line (NAL) for triage and to get referrals as needed for Active Duty members by calling 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273)

- Pharmacy Alternatives include:

Express Scripts

Local TRICARE Pharmacies

For emergency, after-hours on-call services for Behavioral Health, Dental, Flight Medicine and Casualty Affairs are available by contacting the Command Post at 940-676-6266

Stay connected with the 82d Medical Group by visiting

For the time being, when an Active Duty member and/or Beneficiaries require an appointment within 24-hours, and there are no available appointments in Warrior Operations Medicine Clinic (WOMC) or Beneficiary Care Clinic, the Central Appointment Desk (CAD) will refer the patient to the NAL to be triaged. If the NAL determines the patient needs to go to Urgent Care, NAL nurses can put in a referral for the AD members. Non-AD patients may go to any TRICARE-authorized Urgent Care Center or Network Provider without a referral.

Quick Tips

-    Keep kids and pets at least 3ft away

-    Place grills at least 10ft from structures

-    Keep all propane outdoors & store upright
