'Street Smart' back at base theater March 21

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Once again the 82nd Training Wing Safety office is pleased to host "Street Smart" in 2013.

The event will take place on March 21 at the base theater, building 840.

There will be two scheduled sessions for maximum participation. The first will be at 8 a.m. and the second session will be at 1:30 p.m.

Street Smart is presented by Stay Alive From Education (S.A.F.E.), an organization created by firefighter/paramedics in Florida, dedicated to reducing injuries and fatalities due to drinking and driving and non-compliance of seatbelt use.

This program has been reaching students and military personnel around the world with its powerful message since 1988 and has been a member of the Anheuser-Busch Speakers Bureau since 2002.
