The 82nd Training Wing "Commander's Wingman of Choice" award program is the commander's way of acknowledging Airmen for a job well done and to recognize Airmen who exemplify the spirit of the program. Mike is the primary safety specialist providing inspection oversight, mishap investigation and safety prevention training for the 80 FTW, 82 MSG and 365 TRS...the most on staff! As Wing Risk Management (RM) Advisor, he ensures Sheppard members receive training at the appropriate level - amidst RMIS system training outages - rated OUSTANDING in May '12 UCI. Singlehandedly planned/scheduled the highly successful "Street Smart" Safe Driving Event; lauded by the Air Force Safety Center - garnered training valued at $12K at no cost to Sheppard!
