Commander's comments: Tech. Sgt. Begg epitomizes the Wingman spirit. She brings an infectious positive attitude to the 982d TRG and brightens the day of all she comes in contact. She is a consummate professional and outstanding team member with a tireless work ethic. She seems to be at the core of every morale event that takes place in the group, continuously ensuring that my team remains connected beyond the execution of daily mission requirements. Her Wingman prowess was particularly evident when she recently supported a coworker that was forced to return from a deployed location on emergency leave due to a tragic family accident. Immediately upon being notified of the event, she assumed a liaison position between the deployed member, family and leadership, passionately coordinating critical information to all parties until the member was safely back in the local area. Furthermore, she remained engaged, providing vital assistance throughout the entire leave period and up through the member's redeployment to the AOR. Sergeant Begg is absolutely the perfect choice for 82nd TRW Wingman of Choice Award.  - Col. Peter Markle, 982nd Training Group
