87 graduate with CCAF degrees

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  87 Team Sheppard members were awarded their Community College of the Air Force degrees in a ceremony at the Sheppard Club on Nov. 29.

The United Sates Air Force has always recognized the positive effects of education on Air Force personnel and continually establishes various programs to meet the needs of the Air Force, its personnel and society as a whole.

One of the most notable programs is the Community College of the Air Force. The college is the only federally chartered degree-granting institution exclusively serving enlisted personnel. The college awards the Associate in Applied Science degrees and certifications to students who successfully complete programs designed for the Air Force specialties.
