The 82nd Training Wing "Commander's Wingman of Choice" award program is the commander's way of acknowledging Airmen for a job well done and to recognize Airmen who exemplify the spirit of the program. Award recipients, who can be either military or government civilian employees, are nominated by their respective groups and also includes the wing staff agencies. Criteria for consideration include outstanding duty performance, community involvement and exemplary leadership. Chris' impact can literally be felt across the installation, having procured everything from switches and servers for 82 CS critical to maintaining the base network, to classroom furtniture and training supplies for the training squadrons, to a new Fused Deposition Modeling system for the 982 MXS.
