Dalton is "Commander's Wingman of Choice" for Oct. 22-29 Published Oct. 23, 2012 82nd Training Wing Public Affairs SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Airman 1st Class Andrew Dalton of the 82nd Comptrollers Squadron was named the the 82nd TRW "Commander's Wingman of Choice" award winner for the week of Oct. 22-29 during the weekly wing staff meeting on Oct. 24. The 82nd Training Wing "Commander's Wingman of Choice" award program is the commander's way of acknowledging Airmen for a job well done and to recognize Airmen who exemplify the spirit of the program. Award recipients, who can be either military or government civilian employees, are nominated by their respective groups and also includes the wing staff agencies. Criteria for consideration include outstanding duty performance, community involvement and exemplary leadership. Reason for submission: In a short time here at Sheppard, Andrew has totally revamped the DTS program. He is very well known across the base and a few other bases for his outstanding customer service, going above and beyond to assist customers no matter what the problem is. Andrew has received countless positive customer critiques via the online Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) system, email and face to face. I definitely see the effects of his self motivation in the office. He inspires other individuals to "step up" their game.
