Boil Water Notice effective Feb. 1

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Team Sheppard,

Effective immediately, in accordance with the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ), Sheppard AFB has been directed to issue a Boil Water Notification for the employees and patrons of the Bldg. 5 (Outdoor Recreation). This notification is required due to a loss of pressure in the drinking water system earlier yesterday that effectively rendered Bldg. 5 without water pressure greater than 20 pounds per square inch (psi) for approximately five hours.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, a Discontinue Notice will be issued.
