Boil Water Notice rescinded Published Jan. 25, 2012 By Sheppard Bioenvironmental Engineering Office SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- On Jan. 23, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Sheppard Air Force Base to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform the employees and patrons of building 1200 that due to a loss of pressure in the drinking water system that water must be boiled prior to consumption. The Bioenvironmental Engineering office collected representative water samples from Bldg 1200 to assess the water quality. These samples were analyzed by a state certified laboratory that confirmed that Bldg 1200's drinking water is safe to drink. The Bioenvironmental Engineering office would like to apologize for any inconvenience during this time and thank everyone for their patience while they resolved this issue.
