Boil Water Notice effective Jan. 23 Published Jan. 23, 2012 By Sheppard Bioenvironmental Engineering Office SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Effective immediately, In accordance with the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Sheppard AFB has been directed to issue a Boil Water Notification for the employees and patrons of the Bldg 1200, 149 Hart Street, Sheppard AFB, TX. This notification is required due to a loss of pressure in the drinking water system Jan. 23 that effectively rendered Bldg 1200 without water pressure greater than 20 pounds per square inch (psi) for approximately five hours. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, a Discontinue Notice will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
