Boil Water Notice rescinded Published Dec. 31, 2011 Sheppard Bioenvironmental Engineering Office SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- On Dec. 29, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Sheppard Air Force Base to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform the employees and patrons of buildings 237 (82 COM), 239 (AAFES BX), 312 (Library), and 315 (Law Office) that due to an interruption in service, water from their system must be boiled prior to consumption. Sheppard AFB has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.
