Boil Water Notice effective Dec. 28 Published Dec. 28, 2011 Sheppard Bioenvironmental Engineering Office SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Effective immediately, in accordance with the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality, Sheppard Air Force Base has been directed to issue a Boil Water Notification for the employees and patrons of buildings 237 (82 COM), 239 (AAFES BX), 312 (Library), and 315 (Law Office). This notification is required due to a loss of pressure in the drinking water system on Dec. 27, 2011, that effectively rendered these locations without water pressure greater than 20 pounds per square inch for an extended duration of time. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, a Discontinue Notice will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
