Sheppard issues boil order

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Effective immediately, in accordance with the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Sheppard has been directed to issue a Boil Water Notification for the residents of Sky Court billeting and the staff and patients of the 82nd Medical Group, Bldg. 1200.

This notification is required due to a ruptured water line on the east side of Moates and G. V. Hart Ave that caused a loss of pressure in the drinking water system on the evening of March 15. This rupture rendered both locations without sufficient water pressure for approximately one hour.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, a Discontinue Notice will be issued in the same manner as this notice, i.e. e-mail, base paper, public delivery to key facilities.
