Weather Condition: Early release of Sheppard personnel

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  The 82nd Training Wing Commander Brig. Gen. O. G. Mannon directed early release of Sheppard personnel due to weather conditions as directed below: 

· 2 p.m.: Personnel who live more than 25 miles from Sheppard or to the northeast of the base are released

· 2:30 p.m.: Personnel who live between 10-25 miles from the base are released

· 2:30 p.m.: Airmen in training will be released and will return to their dorms. Normally scheduled meal times will be adhered to.

· 3 p.m.: All other personnel are released 

**Sheppard Elementary will be closing at 3:30 p.m. those with children at Sheppard Elementary should pick them up immediately upon release.

**Sheppard Child Development Center will close at 5 p.m., personnel must retrieve their children promptly.

**Airman Leadership School Graduation scheduled for tonight is cancelled.

**Feb. 12: Delayed reporting until 10 a.m.

**The 82nd TRW commander hereby orders all Airmen in Training to remain within the limits of Sheppard Air Force Base until further notice due to the weather event and hereby orders that all AiTs are restricted from driving privately owned vehicles until further notice due to the weather event.
