Sheppard to use social media to broadcast event

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Sheppard Air Force Base will use social media tools Twitter, TroopTube and blogs May 16 during the Joint Warrior Challenge.

Joint Warrior Challenge is an event that pits sister services against each other in competition such as tug-of-war, litter carry and rucksack relay.

These tools will give the 82nd Training Wing Public Affairs office the ability to provide real-time updates to the competition, as well as share it with friends and families of the competitors around the globe.
