Sheppard jodie wins Share Your Care contest Published April 16, 2009 By Airman 1st Class Valerie Hosea 82nd Training Wing Public Affairs SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 882nd Training Group's Jodie Call video won the Share Your Care contest April 6. "It was a last minute entry," said Col. Nancy Dezell, 882nd TRG commander. "This jodie has actually been around for some time." A few years ago, the 882nd TRG had a competition for creating the best jodie. The main requirement was that the jodie had to infuse the three Air Force Core Values: integrity first, service before self, excellence in all we do. Military training instructors worked with the Airmen in Training under Lt. Col. Richard London's command to compose a jodie that would win the challenge. Since then, this jodie has been performed at air shows and for a number of distinguished visitors at Sheppard. The Jodie Call video, featuring Sheppard student medics, was uploaded to YouTube on March 20 and received 136 views as of April 6.
