360th TRS graduate receives Ace Award Published Oct. 20, 2008 360th Training Squadron SHEPPARD AIR BASE, Texas -- A graduate of the 360th Training Squadron's C-130 Aerospace Maintenance Apprentice course received the Ace Award Oct. 20. Senior Airman Nathan Nahler received the highest academic honor a student can achieve for a cumulative average of 100 percent through 10 blocks of instruction. The course include heavy aircraft fundamentals, general airframe, electrical, hydraulic, flight controls, engines, landing gear, aircraft utility systems, and inspections courses. He is the first to earn the Ace Award for the C-130 course in the last four years. Senior Airman Nahler is a member of the 145th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Charlotte Air National Guard, North Carolina, where he is assigned as a C-130 crew chief.
