A-76 Update: Protest ends Published Oct. 1, 2008 SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Air Education and Training Command has announced that the 10-day protest period for the Technical Training Support Services portion of the Sheppard A-76 competition has ended without any protests being filed. This means Sheppard can begin implementing this portion of the performance decision, which favored the government Most Efficient Organization team. The 10-day protest period begins when the bidding parties are debriefed. The Fitness Center and Trainer Development portions of the Sheppard study have been debriefed and we expect to get final notifications on these portions soon. The debriefing for the Civil Engineering portion has not yet occurred and AETC has not yet been able to schedule a date for that briefing. Sheppard's Cost Comparison Office will continue to provide regular updates on the A-76 process. Please call 676-2035 with questions about the Sheppard A-76 study.
