CFC 5K run raises money for ARC

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  A Combined Federal Campaign 5K Charity Race Oct. 6 raised $317 for the American Red Cross.

More than 60 runners participated in the event sponsored by the 364th Training Squadron. Tech Sgt. Louis Gosseck along with many 364th TRS volunteers coordinated the event. Lt. Colonel Matthew Harris, commander of squadron, presented a check to American Red Cross representative Sheldon Johnson.

The winners and their respective categories were:

Under 29 Male: Matt Aguero, with a winning time of 17:55, followed by R.J. Anderson and Nick Laudato.

Under 29 Female: Kristi Laughlin Hall, 20:14, followed by Benane Akurkuch and Sagan Barber.

Over 30 Male: Frank Aleman, 19:05, followed by Mitch Thompson and Chris Lipscomb.

Over 30 Female: Susan Koch, 25:11, followed by Terri Otto and Hollie Lichty.
