Airman's Roll Call: Government travel card a benefit Published June 7, 2007 SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) -- This week's Airman's Roll Call focuses on the government travel card, a benefit available to Department of Defense employees with the understanding it will not be abused or misused in any way. Use of the card is a benefit, not an entitlement, and Air Force leaders remind card holders that irresponsibility can reflect negatively on a person's credit or career. A few points to remember are that ATM withdrawals aren't authorized sooner than three days before scheduled travel, and the card may never be used for personal use. For more information about the government travel card, read this week's Airman's Roll Call. To subscribe to an e-mail version of the product, visit www.af.mil/subscribe/. Airman's Roll Call is one of 30 featured Air Force products that can be received via e-mail.
