MLK tournament postponed due to inclement weather

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  The Martin Luther King Jr. varsity basketball tournament has been postponed due to inclement weather.

This weekends forecast for the area at and around Sheppard Air Force Base calls for freezing rain with a chance of snow or sleet on Jan. 14 and 15, according to the National Weather Service.

Brian Eskew, tournament director with the 82nd Services Division, said they are looking at alternative dates that will accommodate all of the teams.
