82nd MSG names Holiday House winners

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The winners of this year's Best Holiday House were announced recently by the 82nd Mission Support Group deputy commander.

One family housing unit from each housing area was selected Dec. 13. Criteria for selection of this award was originality, creativity and compliance with Christmas decoration policy.

The winner in Capehart was Col. Andrew Cain, 782nd Training Group commander. The Bunker Hill winner was Tech. Sgt. Margaret Cooper, 382 Training Squadron, and Sgt. 1st Class Thomas Reich, 382nd TRS, was the winner in Wherry.

The winners of the Best Holiday House competition received a yard sign designating them as the winner, a $25 gift card from AAFES and coupons from Services Division.

Honorable mention goes to Staff Sgt. Daniel McNamara and Staff Sgt. Christopher Schaeuble in Wherry; Tech. Sgt. Richard Starbird, Sgt. Maj. Kevin Leonard, Tech. Sgt. Francis Kearney, Tech. Sgt. Eddie Ragland, Senior Airman Shannon Neil, Tech. Sgt. Carl Collins, Tech. Sgt. Paul Gussenhofen, Tech. Sgt. Dale Campbell and Master Sgt. William Lumsden in Bunker Hill.

In Capehart, honorable mention goes to Master Sgt. Lisa Craven, Master Sgt. Joyce Turner, Master Sgt. Ronald Nelson, Tech. Sgt. Terry Knight, Master Sgt. Mario Garcia, Capt. Tony King, Maj. David Ellison, Col. Axel Pohlmann, Maj. Carrie Bausano, Maj. Michael Steven and the Clinic Gatehouse.
