Teams from numerous training squadrons here, as well as Army and Navy Seabee teams, came together Saturday to join in friendly competition between the services. The Joint Warrior Competition was held as part of a string of Armed Forces Week celebrations.

The teams competed in four events to determine the overall winner. The day started out with members racing for the best time in a wallclim, followed by a six-person rucksack relay.

Competitors rounded out the day with a four-man litter carry, and the top eight teams in the days earlier events, competed in a tug-of-war.

The teams that placed at the top four in the overall standings were treated to a fireman's tug-of-war, fire hoses courtesy of the Sheppard fire department.

The 363rd TRS won the rucksack relay, the 365th TRS took the wall-climb, the Army team won the litter carry and the 383rd TRS beat out the other teams in the tug-of-war.

The 383rd TRS took first place in the competition, with the Army team taking second place.
