Conyers named 'Support Airman of the Week'

Senior Airman Treasure Conyers, 82nd Force Support Squadron student relocations technician and native of Manning, S.C., has been in the Air Force for two years 10 months and is the Support Airman of the Week at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for the week of Nov. 10-16, 2015.

How she impacts the training mission:

"SrA Conyers' provides guidance and support to the Air Force's largest technical training wing, servicing 19,000 personnel," said Tech. Sgt. Kari Dellorso, 82nd Force Support Squadron NCOIC of Student Relocations. "She manages all permanent change of station assignment actions for non-prior service Airmen in the 361st Training Squadron, supporting the Commander/registrar in 10 Air Force Specialty Codes.  She takes advantage of being involved in community service.  She was the group and squadron representative for multiple blood drives and she also has taken part in military traditions such as proffering for numerous commander calls, ceremonies, and change of commands.  SrA Conyers' not only is a lynch pin to the Student Relocation office but she also holds the additional duties of Personnel Deployment Function and Casualty Assistance Support Team member and Fitness Assessment Coordinator tester.  She is a rock star team member who devotes her time and takes the initiative into making the office and her peers better through training opportunities."

"She enhanced leadership skills and attended two hours of a motivational leadership luncheon and learned new skills and methods," Dellorso said. "She also volunteered four hours for the Wichita Falls humane society."

"SrA Conyers is currently enrolled in Vernon College where she is aspiring to become a fashion designer and receive her Bachelors in International Business."
