Sheppard is hosting a Women's Fully Charged and Connected Conference on March, 24, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Sheppard Club.

Balancing work and life in a fast paced lifestyle can be overwhelming at times. This is an opportunity for inspiration through educational briefings from professional speakers who come from around the community. They will cover topics such as:

1. I Like Me! Self-awareness and self-respect: knowing who you are and being the person you want to be.

2. Hello Neighbor! Culture diversity awareness: understanding your local and global community.

3. Where do I go from here? Learn about sensitive domestic issues, information on alcohol misuse or abuse and finding your community resources on and off base.

4. Not this time! Sexual Assault Prevention and Response: Creating awareness to reduce sexual assaults.

A free breakfast will kick off the event and free child care will be provided on site. Join women throughout the Sheppard community to celebrate your strengths, empower others, and provide positive mentorship.

For additional information, please contact U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Adolphus Sims at adolphus.sims@us.af.mil or 940-676-5413.
