ENJJPT grad identified in Southwest Asia crash Published Dec. 3, 2014 SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Air Force officials have confirmed a Shaw Air Force Base F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot died Dec 1 in an aircraft accident in Southwest Asia while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. The pilot, Capt. William Dubois, 30, graduated from the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program here in 2010 and was assigned to the 77th Fighter Squadron at Shaw. He is survived by his wife. "Our most sincere condolences are with his family, his friends and squadron members during this difficult time," said Col. Stephen Jost, 20th Fighter Wing Commander at Shaw. "Captain Dubois was a patriot, who was willing to put his life on the line every day in service to his nation. He was a valued airman, pilot and friend of those he touched here at Shaw Air Force Base. He will be greatly missed." The cause of this accident is under investigation.
