Every quarter in the Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health Council meeting, winners from two separate categories who recycled the most at Sheppard receive $1,000 checks. In this recycle incentive program, the two categories are the student category and the permanent party category. The winner for the student category was the 80th Flying Training Wing, recycling 10.10 pounds per person. The winner for the permanent party category was the 982nd Training Group, recycling 76.85 pounds per person.
