Sheppard to host Freedom Fest July 4; gates open 3:30 p.m.

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- If you're looking for some fun in Wichita Falls this Independence Day, mark your calendars to attend the 2014 Freedom Fest.

Gates open at 3:30 pm, with events starting at 4 p.m. The fireworks show starts at approximately 10 p.m.

The event is open to the public with live music, fireworks and much more. The tentative schedule includes:

3:30 pm · Gates Open to General Public

4:30 pm · Miyagi - Main Stage

6:30 pm · A.A. Bottom - Main Stage

8:10 pm · Flyover & Wing Leadership Opening Remarks

8:25 pm · The Dirty River Boys - Main Stage

10:02 pm · Fireworks

Freedom Fest also provides a host of family entertainment. Available options include:
