'Street Smart' event June 10 in the base theater

The wing safety office will be hosting two "Street Smart" presentations June 10 at the base theater, building 840, 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

All base personnel and dependents age 15 or older, accompanied by an adult, are welcome to attend the presentations.  Maximum participation is requested to fill the base theater.  Each session is scheduled to take an hour.  

Street Smart is presented by Stay Alive From Education (S.A.F.E.), a organization created by firefighter/paramedics in Florida, dedicated to reducing injuries and fatalities due to drinking and driving and non-compliance of seatbelt use.

This program has been reaching students and military personnel around the world with its powerful message since 1988 and has been a member of the Anheuser-Busch Speakers Bureau since 2002.
