"Experience ENJJPT" debut a success Published March 4, 2014 82nd Training Wing Public Affairs SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The debut episode of a year-long video documentary series following Class 14-07 during undergraduate pilot training at the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program was released Feb. 28 during an event at the Sheppard Club. Experience ENJJPT highlights Class 14-07 from the moment they began training in July of last year. The documentary is being produced by the Sheppard Public Affairs office, with the first episode centering on what ENJJPT is and introducing members of the class. With the emphasis of the documentary being on highlighting the 55-week flight training program through the eyes of the students, the look and feel of the documentary is a bit different from a typical program overview or mission video. "We decided to take this project on to help educate everyone on exactly what ENJJPT is," said 2nd Lt. Ava Margerison, 80th Flying Training Wing public affairs officer. "However, we really wanted to be able to showcase ENJJPT from the viewpoint of the student pilots as they learn how to fly." Another unique aspect of the project is the website that was built to house the documentary's eight episodes, which are approximately five minutes in length. In addtion to the episodes, the website will also post director's outtakes, class photos and other media on a weekly basis throughout the training. "Episode one has been a big hit," Margerison said. "We have been given complete and total access inside pilot training and hopefully that comes through to the viewers." Episode two is scheduled for a late March release date, but fresh video and photo content will be posted on the website weekly.
