Chief recognition ceremony set for Feb. 27 Published Feb. 7, 2014 SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The newest Team Sheppard Chief Master Sergeant will be honored during the 2014 Recognition Ceremony to be held Feb. 27 at the Sheppard Club. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. Guest speaker for the event will be Chief Master Sergeant Stephen Mihal, Commandant of the Sheppard NCO Academy. Dinner will include choice of prime rib or honey chicken breast. Cost to attend is $24.30 (prime rib) or $17.64 (honey chicken breast) per person and those desiring to attend should RSVP by Feb. 21. Tickets can be purchased from any chief master sergeant (Club members receive a $2 discount). Attire is mess dress or semi-formal uniform for military attendees.
