Plans and Policy NCO is commander's wingman of choice

Tech. Sgt. Jack McKee, 982nd Training Group noncommissioned officer in charge of plans and policy, has been selected the commander's "Wingman of Choice." Having spent two years at Sheppard, the Orlando, Fla., native is inspired by confidence, faith and wisdom. He aims to maintain career progeression and finish restoring his 1978 Pontiac Trans Am.

The 82nd Training Wing "Commander's Wingman of Choice" award program is the commander's way of acknowledging Airmen for a job well done and to recognize Airmen who exemplify the Air Force core values. Criteria for consideration include outstanding duty performance, community involvement and exemplary leadership.

Greatest accomplishment: Directing weapons loading operations downrange; recovering F-15 Eagle's with 100 percent munitions expenditure.

The impact of Tech Sgt McKee's efforts is visible at Sheppard AFB, as well as at 48 training detachments, spanning seven major commands world-wide.

Tech. Sgt. McKee is a very knowledgeable and capable NCO. He adjusted quickly as an inspector despite having no training experience beyond the student status. His new position requires him to evaluate the training delivery methods and course materials at 48 geographically separated units. This helps to ensure the warfighter receives the best possible training.
