Aerospace Medicine Service Craftsman is commander's "Wingman of Choice"

Staff Sgt. Adam Presley, an 82nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron medical service craftsman, from Burleson, Texas, was selected as the commander's wingman of choice. He is inspired by his five-year-old son, Samuel, and has spent more than two years at Sheppard.

The 82nd Training Wing "Commander's Wingman of Choice" award program is the commander's way of acknowledging Airmen for a job well done and to recognize Airmen who exemplify the Air Force core values. Criteria for consideration include outstanding duty performance, community involvement and exemplary leadership.

Reason for submission: Staff Sgt. Presley is one of our best and most seasoned aerospace medical technicians at Sheppard. He has been assigned to numerous duty positions within his short career to include a deployment to the 779th Aeromedical Staging Facility where he led a team of 28 people ensuring the movement of 6,200 wounded warriors and launched 502 on-time aero evacuation missions.

Staff Sgt. Presley and his team are responsible for all medical responses to in-flight emergencies, natural disasters, mishaps, mass casualty events and medical coverage. Due to his skill and strict training of his team, they were able to respond to and investigate the most recent flying mishap flawlessly.
