Sheppard kicks off focus week

SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  Focus week on Sheppard gets into high gear beginning Monday and running through August 7.

The week includes speeches by motivational speaker Dan Clark and commander's calls throughout the week focusing on the concept of motivation, customer service and how to maximize core mission objectives.

Several squadrons and groups are slated to be in attendance at various locations throughout the week.

Monday, August 5
7:30 A.M.- Leadership Breakfast at Sheppard Club
9:45 A.M.- 782 TRG Immersion/Speaking Tour
Noon- Dan Clark Professional Organization Luncheon at Sheppard Club
1:45 P.M. 80 FTW Flight Simulator Immersion/Speaking Tour
4:00 P.M- Dan Clark gives "Pure Motivation" presentation for the 782nd Training Group at base theater. Seats are also open to the 80th Flying Training Wing.

Tuesday, August 6
7:30 A.M. 82 TRG Immersion/Speaking Tour
10:00 A.M.- "Pure Motivation" Training Tuesday Event at Solid Rock Cafe
11:30 A.M.- "Pure Motivation/Creating Customer Delight" 82nd MDG Luncheon building 1200. Topic of patient care, satisfaction and motivation within the medical field will be discussed with Dan Clark at the 82nd Medical Group.
1:10 P.M -"Pure Motivation" Youth Center event at South Chapel (families/spouses/kids). Clark will be talking to a smaller group of kids who are attending summer programs at the Youth Center. This week they specifically are participating in the Missoula Children's Theater.
2:15 P.M. - 80 FTW Tour/Immersion
4:00 P.M.- 82 TRG "Pure Motivation" at Base Theater. Clark will be at the base theater for an 82nd Training Group commander's call covering his topics of "Pure Motivation." This includes Airmen from the 361st, 362nd and 363rd Training Squadrons. Open seating will be available for the 80th Flying Training Wing.
5:00 P.M. - Chapel Spaghetti Dinner



Wednesday, August 7
7:00 A.M.- Airman Leader Breakfast at Wing Conference Room
8:00 A.M. - "Pure Motivation/Creating Customer Delight" 982 TRG/WSA/82 MDG *open seating
9:45 A.M. - "Pure Motivation" Sheppard NCOA building 1200
11:30 A.M. - "Pure Motivation" Civilian Mentoring Lunch at SRC
1:00 P.M. - "Pure Motivation" MTLs at SRC
2:15 P.M. - 82nd Mission Support Group "Creating Customer Delight" at Base Theater *open seating
3:30 P.M. - "Pure Motivation" All 82nd TRW Instructors at Base Theater *open seating
6:00 P.M. - Senior Leader Dinner at Sheppard Club
