Being the first on scene, Legg ensured that the area around the vehicle was safe and then administered self-aid and buddy care to the trapped driver. He prevented the driver from going into shock and notified emergency personnel of the situation, location, and condition of the individual involved. His quick actions to provide emergency aid in a time of need are truly a sign of a wingman. Commander's name and comments: According to Maj. Oliver Ulmer, "Tech. Sgt. Legg is that non commisioned officer that you wish you could duplicate. You name it and he is involved. He is the heart of the squadron intramural team, the instructor that students most want to emulate, and most of all the type of wingman that we all aspire to be. If you were to ask what inspires me, I would say people like Bobby Legg inspire me!"
